Project Description

Guest Lounge at Changi Cove, Singapore
In the revamp of the interiors of the lounge is the attempt to use the clustering of furniture and carpet selection to create subtle yet effective space definition. The floor plane was conceived as an organic surface from which the different chairs like flowers sprout forth with life and colours. Columns along the full-height glass panels are painted so as to cause them to visually `dematerialise’ into the framework of the glazing and the visual continuity between the interiors and the gorgeous surrounding landscape is encouraged. In the Roof Terrace, hard and soft-scaping are employed to create an intimate outdoor experience, borrowing views of the majestic nature around, yet creating enough privacy from the adjacent hotel room corridors.
